HOW WE WORK
A Refined, Considered Process
From first conversation to ongoing service — every step engineered with the same discretion and craftsmanship that defines our installations.
White-Glove from First Call to Final Inspection
High-ticket home projects carry inherent anxiety — the contractors, the timelines, the disruption, the questions that don't get answered until it's too late to ask them. Our process is designed explicitly to remove that anxiety. Every client has a dedicated senior project manager from consultation through the life of the system. Every decision is explained, every cost is disclosed in advance, and every team member on your property is a full-time Apex employee.
We work on the East End because it is where bespoke service is expected and where the properties reward thoughtful integration. Our five-step process is built around minimal disruption to your estate, complete transparency at every stage, and a long-term relationship that continues well beyond the final panel installation. The consultation begins with a conversation. Everything else follows from there.
Five Steps. One Trusted Team.
Private Consultation
A discreet, no-obligation conversation — typically at your estate or by video call. We learn about your property, your energy goals, and your aesthetic preferences. We answer your questions, walk through preliminary options, and never push toward a sale. This first conversation sets the tone for everything that follows: quiet, honest, and entirely on your terms.
Timeline
Typically 60–90 minutes
What to Expect
- — Senior team member, never a junior sales rep
- — No high-pressure tactics, no urgency manufacturing
- — Honest assessment of whether solar is right for your property
- — Preliminary conversation about scope and timeline
Site Assessment & Design
Our engineers conduct a comprehensive site assessment — roof structural analysis, solar exposure modeling, electrical panel evaluation, and architectural integration planning. We then develop a tailored system design specific to your property's orientation, architectural style, and energy goals. The result is a design that performs at the highest level while integrating into its context without announcement.
Timeline
1–2 weeks from consultation
What to Expect
- — On-site assessment by our engineering team
- — 3D solar exposure modeling for optimal panel placement
- — Structural evaluation of your roof
- — Custom design honoring your home's architecture
Proposal & Approval
We present a detailed proposal including system specifications, performance projections, financial analysis with all applicable incentives, and timeline. For projects requiring ARB or historic district approval, we manage the submission process on your behalf — drawings, applications, hearings, and revisions. We have never lost a first-submission ARB application on behalf of a client.
Timeline
2–6 weeks depending on permitting
What to Expect
- — Detailed written proposal with system specs and financial modeling
- — Transparent pricing — no hidden fees
- — All incentive paperwork prepared on your behalf
- — ARB and historic district approval management
Installation
Our installation crew arrives with the precision and discretion you'd expect of any team working on your estate. Most residential installations are completed in 3–7 days. We protect landscaping, coordinate with your property management team, and leave the site cleaner than we found it. Your single point of contact remains available throughout the installation period.
