How long does installation take?
Most residential installations are completed within 1–2 days. The full process — from consultation to system activation — typically takes a few weeks, depending on permitting and PSEG Long Island interconnection approval.
What happens during a power outage?
Standard grid-tied solar systems shut down during outages for safety reasons. However, if you add battery storage to your system, your home can continue running on stored solar energy — keeping critical appliances powered through Long Island storm season.
